What California beaches are best for weddings? I was discussing a beach wedding with my fiance, and I was wondering what beaches would be best for our wedding. We want somewhere pretty secluded, because we dont want people all over the place at our wedding. Plus, we would like a place that has an ideal area for a reception nearby. I know my sister had her wedding on a beach in Maui, that was right behind a fancy hotel, and we had the reception on this little back patio type thing. This is kinda what we're looking for. Does anybody have know of any places or hotels that would be ideal?
Best Beach In Southern California for a wedding anniversary? My husband and I are from Southern CA but never been to any beaches here yet. We would like to go to a nice southern CA beach for our anniversary but we are afraid a lot of the beaches have a bunch of valley girls and partiers crowding most of the beaches in the area. We would like to go to a romantic and somewhat spacious and secluded beach. Any advice or suggested beaches? Thanks!
Bermuda Beaches...Best Ones? Hey All...I am doing some research before I plan a trip to Bermuda and would like to know which beaches near King's Wharf are the best to go visit, and why. I would also like to know of any secluded beaches also near king's wharf. Other beaches away from king's wharf is also acceptable though I would most definitively want beaches close to king's wharf first. Thank you for your time!

Best Beaches close to Orlando? So I'll be staying close to Orlando for three weeks in June and I'm looking for beaches that meet these criteria 1. Close to Orlando within 2 hours tops, I want to go everyday. 2. Crystal clear water like the movies 3. Secluded - I want to relax by a palm tree. Not too much crowd. Please, if anyone knows of any beaches that meet the criteria let me know. I'm leaving in 2 weeks and I'm planning ahead so I know what to expect. I've heard many things about Clearwater and Hudson . . .any other suggestions are welcome. I'll be staying in Clermont, Florida to be exact. Thanks guys.
What Caribbean island or destination is not popular to tourism with somewhat secluded beaches and nice water? I am a US Citizen looking to travel to a Caribbean style island I can just lay on and rot. I want to lay in a hammock 24/7. If I could find a small piece of untouched land somewhere I would. But we know that isn't going to happen. So what's my next best bet? I was thinking the US Virgin Islands but thats obviously a popular destination. OR if anyone knows of a tucked away secluded specific location in a popular tourist area, that would be fine too. this might be asking too much but.. a small crumb box outdoor bar not far away from that area would also be nice.. try to be creative.. in my search, I came across Coco Blanco .. which is really cool.. almost exactly what I'm looking for.. maybe a little bigger.. I dont know.. images.google.com it

I want to stay somewhere that is semi-secluded. (On the beach, not in a big high-rise bld) but also not FAR from things to do. It seems like theres LOTS to do in Waikiki.. Is there much to do on Maui like zoos, historical stuff, shopping etc.. Any ideas where/what part of the islands we should stay in? As well as any attractions you know of? Thanks!

Where is the best beach in the US to take a week vacation? (exclude Hawaii)? I want to take a vacation to a warm beach this coming fall, any suggestions? I don't want to go to an overcrowded area, but not completely secluded either. Somewhere not too expensive, but not "cheap". What part of Costa Rica is best for honeymooners and is June a good month? My hubby and I aren't into water sports or any of that. We like bars, beaches, spas, shopping, etc. Prefer lots of people to secluded area. Looking for an all inclusive resort. Don't know what part of costa rica is best. Thanks. Thanks for all of your input! Btw, we are both 33. So we don't want to go where it's all spring-breakish. How is July? Is July better than June?

Where is the best place to have a honeymoon in the Riviera Maya? I am having my wedding in the beginning of May at the RIU Palace Riviera Maya and I am looking for a remote place to honeymoon around this area. Does anyone have any suggestions?
What is the best Hawaiian island to visit for a honeymoon? We would like lots of beaches that don't get too crowded, hiking, and scenery. We want a romantic setting where there won't be a whole lot of people. We aren't concerned with nightlife or surfing. We just want to enjoy a beautiful place in as a secluded setting as possible. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
BEST party All NIGHT and DAY!Destination?? I would like to go on a real crazy party holiday this summer and am looking for the best one. Ive heard Aiya Napa Cyprus and Malia in Crete. Any other sujestions? Oh and i have a great one for anybody interested. The island of Pag in croatia is good fun.Its only 11 km long and 4 km wide but the lively town of Novalja is packed with party people. The party beach Zrce is the hot spot where clubs line the beach.Transportation is easy to acess as it is in the middle of the town and busses run every few minutes to and from the beach.Partys start at 16:00 and end at 7 .Nice people there too apart from the people that work there ,they are quite rude.Other wise its great fun .If you want to relax just rent a quad bike or a scooter and find a secluded beach there are plenty.I do warn there arn't many sandy beaches ..just little pebbles. And make sure you stay in the town of Novalja because the other small villages are far away from the party and unless you want to drive you won't get there.
What is the best place to backpack in Hawaii? My friends and I are looking for a place to go this winter that is secluded with great views (preferably near a beach). A strenuous and/or longer hike to the campground would be preferable, but we aren't experts, so avoiding dangerous trails is a must. Ideally we'd camp for a few days in one site, and do smaller day hikes from there. Facilities, especially potable water, provided is much preferred. If you've been to a great spot please let me know : ) Thanks!
What's the best part of Miami to stay for vacation? An area that is close to attractions, sites, and beaches......an area that is safe and away from all the crazy party scene, yet not so secluded. Would like to be able to relax at my hotel...on the each, yet not travel so far to get to other places during the day or night.
Best vacation for couple with relaxation in mind? Me and my husband are planning a trip to florida for the beginning of June. I've never been to the beach before so that's a big draw for me. I'm not sure where in Florida we should go. We want a beach that isn't overcrowded, possibly secluded. I don't want to be in the middle of nowhere either though. I want to be able to dine and shop and see a few attractions. Any suggestions on where we should go?
What is the best beach to visit near Oaxaca City? Due to an awesome airfare sale, I'll be with the fiancée in Oaxaca City in August. We both would really like to spend some time at the beach, but I realize from Oaxaca to the coast is a lot farther than it looks. I'd love to know which beach community would be the best to spend a few nights in, keeping in mind that our schedule is a bit tight. How would we get there? I know the road is pretty demanding and I'd be doing all the driving, so if a short flight is available, I could do that. Huatulco? Puerto Escondido? She just wants to sunbathe and the more secluded and affordable the better. Thanks!
Secluded Caribbean beach vacation? Hello, my family want to venture off to something different for a spring vacation in 2010. We have researched and researched for places, and found things we like, but most were touristy and way out of our budget. We like beaches and less touristy places. We would like to go somewhere in the Caribbean. So far we found the beaches of the USVI the best, but way to busy for us (not to mention way overpriced!). The scenery of Dominica is spectacular, but the beaches were limited and Batibou Bay Beach that "sold" us, we later found out was going to be dangerous if you are there alone (we were looking into Calibishie Cove penthouse room). Then comes St. Lucia. Amazing views just like Dominica! For a place we want, the trip would cost 6 grand+! I have also been looking into the St. Vincent and Grenadines. So all in all, does anyone know a place for use to go (3 of us) that is under 5 Grand? Doesn't have to be a solid answers, maybe if you could give ideas and other places. Thanks!!!!!!! **FORGOT TO ADD** We have been going to Mexico (Cancun, Maya Riviera) and want something different :)
What is the best college in California for what i'm looking for? I want to become a psychologist, so i want to go to a college that offers a good psychology program. I would also love to be in a great city, preferably one near the beach. I don't like to be in a secluded area usually. The school also needs to be a really good school. I don't want to go somewhere where everyone is overly competitive and its hard to make friends. I'd like sports, too. If it's possible.
Best creeks or other similar places to camp at? My friends and I want to go camping soon. we were thinking of going to a creek or just any place with water(no beaches) and is somewhat secluded. basically, we would like to camp somewhere with privacy. We are located in Southern California in Los Angeles. Does anyone know a decent location and directions(in case it doesnt have an address or mapquest can't find it)?
Which sounds like the Best Evening to you? A. Walk on the Beach, walk to a secluded little covered table with Candles, soft music, wonderful meal and moon shining in the background. B. Top of the Tower Restaurant packed with people and loud band playing, noise everywhere

Australia/new zealand, best place to take a cruise? my logic in detail, i do acknowledge it is my opinion.? I am young & haven't travel much besides asia. If i go to the carribbeans I will like to fly & live there since its cheap doing stuff on my own schedule. If i go to europe i would like to go to spain, france, italy, and greece in 1 trip and on land so i don't have time for a cruise. I will take a ferry from italy to greece. Seeing northern light is cool but i don't really have a strong want of taking a cruise there yet since i have so much more of the world to experience. and as some article online says: Splendid landscapes, secluded beaches, stunning glaciers, super-friendly citizens, scenic cities like Sydney and Auckland; a cruise vacation to Australia and New Zealand will surely leave incredible memories. From snorkeling in THE GREAT CORRAL REEFS to traversing the rugged and barren OUTBACK, every visitor is guaranteed a great time. Hop off to the lush greenery of New Zealand. Explore both the South and North Islands of New Zealand. Visit Christchurch and Wellington and many more. I feel like the great corral reef & the outback really separates this cruise from carribbean or meditteranean cruises. What do you guys think of this. I want to hear your insightful opinions

any recommendation for the best beach front hotel in phuket, thailand? only those who've actually been there. details below: -preferably below or up to usd200 per night -inclusive of breakfast -privacy is a must -quiet & secluded but not too far from the shopping streets -the beach is clean or being cleaned all the time due to tourists' mess..like soda cans, plastics, leftover food etc.. -beach front means when you step out of your room, it's really there and not an "exodus" if you get my meaning -hotel has it's own private beach area -big pool -amenities and room are really clean -room service, hotel restaurants and bar are open 24/7 as i am a lone traveler most of the time. -and last but not the least, when i booked, the hotel front desk won't give me a headache of saying, "i have to wait as my room is not available at the moment or worst, put me in a more expensive room". (no cheating of hotel mgt) thank you very much and your feedback is highly appreciated. pls don't give me websites as i do search but what i want is a more personalized recommendations.
What would be the best Family beach Near Orlando? I have looked at alot of different answers on here and they all seem to lead to Coco Beach. But what I want is some thing very relaxing and still be fun for the kids. I don't wnat to go some where that people are on top of us all the time. Dont want much hu? (lol) I looked at Mexico Beach FL and feel in love, we had some friends go there last year and loved that it was so secluded and they said it was beautiful and by the looks of their pics it was. There was hardly any one on the beaches. The only problem with that is we would have 5hr or more drive to Orlando. So if any one can help me I would be so greatful. I would just really like to stay some where on the beach with out alot of people and relax, I don't mind to drive even 2hrs if I can find some thing like that.

Any recommendations for uncrowded/secluded/romantic beaches around South Lake Tahoe? I plan on visiting South Lake Tahoe on a Saturday in early August. Are there any uncrowded/secluded/romantic beaches in the area? I've been to the area once, and most beaches that I could see from the road looked quite crowded. I am looking for a beach where my girlfriend and I can take "a romantic walk along the beach" or have a quiet picnic. Thanks!
Are there any secluded beaches in southern California? I want a beach wedding and it would be easier to get married in California where most of my fiancee's family lives. Are there any low key kind of beaches where there arent a lot of people walking around? It will be a afternoon/night time...
Where are the secluded beaches? Greetings: All, I am wondering where are the secluded beaches? Me and my wife are about to celebrate our wedding anniversary soon. She is a bbw (plus size woman) and I am trying to get her in some skimpy swimwear (thongs, bikinis - two piece, body thongs etc., etc.). I believe that if she knew that there was no one around or other women her size or similiar minding their own business she would "let her hair down" so to speak. So, where can I find a beach like this one I'am describing? I hope that it's on the east coast of the U.S.? Still, please give me some information.
secluded beaches to spend a night on near santa barbara? I am not looking for a campground, I would like to find a nice secluded beach to spend a night or two on. Preferably a little bit of a hike down to. Does anyone know of any spots that are somewhat like this? That is just to bad, what about any secluded beaches north of Santa Barbara all the way up the coast line. i feel like I have been to beaches when I was younger that were not patrolled or bum ridden.

What are the quieter, more secluded beaches in the Gulf Coast (FL) w/ beachfront house rentals? For honeymoon? Looking for a house rental for our honeymoon (July 8-15) on a more secluded beach (privacy) in the Gulf Coast, preferably the Florida panhandle. We want somewhere that is not too touristy and crowded. We definitely want a house, NOT a condo or townhouse and would prefer beachfront rather than further back on the land... Being further back would be alright as long as we have a good oceanview from the house. I have found a lot of places further south in Florida's Gulf Coast, but we wanted to see if we could find anything ranging from Pensacola Beach to St. Joseph Bay or maybe a little further (not too far... we're driving from Tennessee). OR if you know of any other places like I described that aren't in Florida (definitely beach... not lakes, rivers, etc.) that we could drive to from Tennessee, please suggest them!!! We're open to all ideas!! Thank you.
Most beautiful secluded beaches? Hello, my family and I are looking for a beautiful secluded beach where we can relax for a week at the end of march. We are an active group looking for an affordable place to stay, yet with all the good stuff. We want to be able to relax, but also have tons to do. We do not want to be stuck with a big crowd of loud "touristy" americans. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Warm secluded beaches on the pacific northern CA coast not over a 4 hr radius of San Francisco? I'm a 23 yr old woman needing a quiet weekend getaway. If you can think of anything that meets these criteria, I'd really appreciate it! :) -safe -warm -quiet (this may conflict w/safe, but I need to do some thinking, self-reflecting, goal-setting so touristy busy places are out of the question) -not overly expensive or extravagant -hotel overlooking the ocean -not over 4 hrs north of south of SF Thanks again.
Know of any "foreign" secluded beaches? I'm looking for a beach that has little huts or something on the beach to stay in. Somewhere close enough to a city to get what you need, but far enough to still have that secluded feel. Not a resort. Fruit trees would be nice too. Also, not an American beach. Anyone know of a place like this?
Are Secluded Beaches in Punta Cana safe? My husband and I are travelling to Punta Cana next month and we're staying at Sunscape. We have long stretches of beach and I'd love to walk along as far as I can, however, I heard that it's not safe....Should I be worried?
What is a good natural and secluded beach on the east coast? I'm looking for a nice natural beach with no boardwalks or any kind of commercialism. I want to sit on the beach and do NOTHING. I've been to Ocracoke which was beautiful, but from Georgia it's a 12 hour trip. I'd like to find a nice beach closer. Any ideas? P.S. - when I say natural I don't mean nude.
Does any body know of a nice secluded beach close to Orlando? I am going to Orlando in a couple of weeks and one of the days I have planed just to relax on the beach, you know to take a little break from all the parks!I know the closest beach to Orlando is hour-hour and a half away, but I am looking for a secluded beach, not many people,to be pretty and romantic! Thanks for your answer!:)))
What's a good secluded Florida beach that is warm in mid-March? I'm looking into going somewhere in Florida in mid-March with my wife, and I don't want to deal with spring break crowds. I don't necessarily need to be staying in the only hotel on the beach, but I want someplace kind of secluded. Any suggestions? Any hotel suggestions?
There is a very large almost secluded beach near me. Is it okay to go nude? It's not classified as a nude beach but it is just south of san francisco. I don't think it ever gets patrolled becasue the only access is down a steep rope ladder and trail. Do you think I would offend anyone enough that they'd call the police? I'd say the beach is 1-2 miles long and can have 2-15 people on it.
Secluded Florida beaches? I'm just looking for a nice, preferably secluded/undeveloped beach in northeast FL to enjoy...Anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone know any beaches in northern Florida (but not the panhandle...I'm in Gainesville so preferably ~2 hours max from there) that are secluded, pretty, and natural? Preferably with a pier/groyne/jetty of some sort... I'm just looking for somewhere in FL that *doesn't* have condos, hotels, and McMansions built right up along every mile of shore and *isn't* tourist-infested, if that's possible in Florida...lol... Thanks.
What beaches are near Hilo on the Big Island? I am leaving in a day! We are going to be there for 10 days, ofcourse I am sure we will drive around, but I was wondering if there are any secluded little beaches or big beaches in or right near Hilo?
What beaches near Orlando are open all night? Boyfriend & I wanted to camp out at the beach. I know there are camping sites...like Jetty park but We want to stay on the beach near the water. In Daytona Beach they close the beach early and dont let anyone be there after sundown. Maybe there is a secluded beach on the east coast somewhere where we can just lay out a blanket. Or a camping site on the beach.
How do you find rural beaches? You always hear of these secluded paradise-like beaches, with couples all alone and have the whole landscape to themselves to roll around in. Where can you find these beaches? Particularly on the east coast? Even the world?
Do the homeless sleep on beaches? It seems all they have to do is move to a warm state and find a secluded beach area somewhere...and sleep. Is there a problem with this (possibly deceptively simple) solution?

I have found a lot of places further south in Florida's Gulf Coast, but we wanted to see if we could find anything ranging from Pensacola Beach to St. Joseph Bay or maybe a little further (not too far... we're driving from Tennessee). OR if you know of any other places like I described that aren't in Florida (definitely beach... not lakes, rivers, etc.) that we could drive to from Tennessee, please suggest them!!! We're open to all ideas!! Thank you.
