Enderts Beach and other Secluded Beaches

Secluded Mexican Beaches Knowledge Base

What is the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you? Please share, I am very curious. Some friends and I were visiting this really beautiful Mexican beach and there was a lagoon not far from the ocean, it was rather secluded (and hopefully no dangerous creatures), and we decided to go swimming in it. My friend's boyfriend, let's just call him Fulano, stole the top to my bathing suit as a prank. Oh man, I wanted to kill him, lol.
Please read this I am trying to find there descendants? Okay here is what I know about Lorraine aka Laurie not Lori. She lived some where on the coast of Florida . She had a husband named Tom. Worked either as a lifeguard or in the medical field. And died of an apparent heart attack in or around 1945. She was known to me by my late grandmother Piper Ceili. Who told me about her and I am trying to find out if she has any family left. I want to get in touch with them if possible. There are some things about that time that my grandmother always wondered about for example who was the little boy that was trapped in the water and what was Lorraine reading that scared her so much she had a heart attack? Let me know if any of this sound like something you have heard a family member talk about, you can email me at ngwebmaster@yahoo.com Thank you for your help. McCollonough PS her remains where cremated and put into an urn. That I think had a red medical cross on it. That is if I am remembering the story correctly. There was also a cliff over looking the ocean that had a staircase leading down to a very small and secluded beach. There where also a bunch of tunnels that my grandmother had been told where used during prohibition. PPS Tom may or may not still be alive he would be nearing 105 I think if he is. And Lorraine had a best friend named Christina. PPPS Oh I forgot to mention that Lorraine was of either Mexican or French descent, but was born in the states. She had dark black curly hair and black eyes. My grandmother told me her skin looked the color of light brown sugar. No quite white but not quite brown. There was also a sister who had a young child just learning to walk at the time of Lorraine's death. I can email more details of the story to you if you think you know who their decedents's might be. thank you again for your help, and for passing this on to others. The Surname for Lorraine is Thomas. I just don't know if that is her maiden name or her married last name.
Oxnard Beach/ embassy suites, how safe is it? Okay, I might sound racist here, and that's not my intent, but are there a lot of mexicans/illegal immigrants? I've read things online about Oxnard- and honestly, I'd be more comfortable in an area like LA. But no, my dad decided Oxnard because it's on the shore and it's cheap. Well why the hell is it cheap when other hotels are further from beaches like Manhattan and Santa Monica are expensive? They have the same things- but cost more. I'm starting to worry. I hate being the only white person in an area- I need to feel like I belong, I'm pretty insecure if you can't tell, and I heard about Oxnard crime rates?! It's like my dad is trying to piss me off:/ I know LA isn't the safest, but it's not as secluded and there are plenty of tourists there unlike the ONE HOTEL on Mandalay Beach... Please help me:/
