Secluded Beaches In Hawaii Knowledge Base
Where should my boyfriend and I go in Hawaii? We are going on a vacation together in a couple of weeks and are trying to plan it. Which island should we go to? We are looking for beautiful, somewhat secluded beaches with the light blue water and the whole tropical essence! I keep switching islands that I like because I cant seem to find one that is just right. We are not going for a party trip but are looking for more of the romantic, beautiful and more private aspects of Hawaii where there aren't loads of people everywhere. We are not on much of a budget so we want to go all out. Any suggestions?
Where to Honeymoon in Hawaii for Secluded Spot? My fiance and I are looking to Honeymoon in mid to end of July in Hawaii. We've never been, and we want to either rent a condo or a hotel/resort, but the important thing is that it be in a *secluded spot*. We really want to be away from noise and just relax on a beach that isn't crowded, and ideally, that is more couple-friendly than family-friendly. It's our honeymoon, and we really want it to be just that.... a honeymoon. Any suggestions are truly appreciated!
Whats it like living in Hawaii? I really really really want to live in Hawaii. After i graduate college (although im only in high school right now), and i want to be a teacher in hawaii. But what is like living in hawaii, like what do you do for fun, are there secluded beaches that i can just chill on, are the locals really that racist or is it just certain parts, and etc. Also i should probably add this i want to get a teaching job in Honolulu or on Oahu, but if anyone who lives there reads this, can you please answer, because it seems like the greatest place on earth, thank you
Renting beach house in Hawaii, help!? Trying to figure out where to stay for honeymoon, and i have absolutely no clue! I know we want to rent a PRIVATE, secluded house right on the beach anywhere in Hawaii. We are looking to stay for a week. I need suggestions please, i'm totally lost :( If you can, please link websites or photos!
What is the best place to backpack in Hawaii? My friends and I are looking for a place to go this winter that is secluded with great views (preferably near a beach). A strenuous and/or longer hike to the campground would be preferable, but we aren't experts, so avoiding dangerous trails is a must. Ideally we'd camp for a few days in one site, and do smaller day hikes from there. Facilities, especially potable water, provided is much preferred. If you've been to a great spot please let me know : ) Thanks!
What is your favorite city that you have visited or lived in? I'm seeking a place that has warm & sunny weather year round (or at least a short winter), plenty of greenery (not just parks within a city) with panoramic views & bodies of water, yet within close proximity to a lively European-like city with historic buildings and beautiful architecture, cafes, museums, and bookstores where I can walk for hours.Safety, job availability,& affordability is also a must. I've lived in the suburbs & a large university town of NJ, San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, & the island of Oahu in Hawaii.I've also visited NYC,Philly,&Prague.I really love Hawaii's weather, mountain ranges, green countryside, secluded beaches, & I fell in love with the history & architecture of Prague.I enjoy the cafes & used bookstores of San Francisco, museums & clubs of NYC and Philly, & the academic opportunities of a college town.I'm not much in need of endless shopping outlets, crazy nightlife, or tons of tourism. Am I being too idealistic or does a place like this exist?? Thanks
going to hawaii for a month? I am thinking of going to hawaii for a month next summer but dont really know where to start. I would like to ask which area/island would be best to go to for quiet beaches and villages and secluded areas, but with a town or something within travelling distance just in case. what time of year is the best to go there? and what kind of accomodation would be the best option for this kind of area
Where is the best beach in the US to take a week vacation? (exclude Hawaii)? I want to take a vacation to a warm beach this coming fall, any suggestions? I don't want to go to an overcrowded area, but not completely secluded either. Somewhere not too expensive, but not "cheap". Somewhere where they have an outdoor tiki bar where I can sit and drink cocktails on the beach with the ocean behind me.
Which Hawaiian island is the best for honeymoon? Me + my fiance are planning to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon. I'm not sure which island would be best.. I want to stay somewhere that is semi-secluded. (On the beach, not in a big high-rise bld) but also not FAR from things to do. It seems like theres LOTS to do in Waikiki.. Is there much to do on Maui like zoos, historical stuff, shopping etc.. Any ideas where/what part of the islands we should stay in? As well as any attractions you know of? Thanks!
Supernatural Poll, would you rather with Jensen & Jared Pt.6? OK fellow Supernatural Fans & Contacts, here's Part 6 as most of you requested!!! Hope you like!!! To all who don't know, Supernatural is a TV Show starring Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki, so you have to pick what you would rather do and with who out of the following questions: 1. Would you rather...go camping with Jensen in a secluded spot where there is a lagoon nearby where the two of you can be alone or go camping with Jared where it rains the whole time so you get to spend all your time in your tent getting cosy? 2. Would you rather...have Jared propose to you on top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris or have Jensen propose to you on Oahu beach in Hawaii? 3. Would you rather...stay in a creepy castle with Jensen where you have to fend off Vampires or stay in the countryside with Jared where you have to fight of Werewolfs? (You MUST tell me your scenario for this one and how the guy you pick saves you) 4. Would you rather...star in Supernatural as a love interest for Jared as Sam where you eventually end up dying in some dramatic way as Sam is unlucky in love or star in Supernatural as a love interest for Jensen as Dean where you eventually sacrifice yourself to save him? 5. Would you rather...marry Jensen and have 10 children or marry Jared and have 4 children? (This Q not only depends on which guy but also how many kids your willing to have) NOTE: For Q 3 you MUST tell me a quick summary of the scenario you choose be it Vampires or Werewolfs. NOTE: For Q 5 you MUST tell me what you name all your kids. For Q 3 yeah i know i'm slipping into the fantasy world there but come on, they do star in Supernatural after all, this kinda Q was bound to surface eventually!!! So for Q 3 & 5 just go nuts and have fun, it's fun, BE CREATIVE! A true Supernatural Fan would... If you want mine ask and they will be posted in Additional Information at a later date so keep on checking for them. Thanks, Lisa Michelle x x lol x x Loved your Vampire Scenarios CastielFan & Proud To Be Canadian. My answers are coming...x OK here's mine... 1. Camping with Jensen...we could have just as much fun in the lagoon as you could with Jared in the tent ;) and Jensen is so hot... 2. Eiffel Tower of Oahu Beach??? Oahu Beach and Jensen!!! Cos afterwards maybe we'll see some of the cast of Lost hanging around, as that's where they film... 3. Hmmmm....this may take awhile...vampires for me...Edward Cullen anyone???? OK so...we'd be driving along in out car and Jensen decides tto take a shortcut through the wood. Our car breaks down and Jensen spots this really old creepy castle surrounded by dark clouds and drakness...and says we should see if anyones home that can help us. I don't want to but i go so i'm not left alone. We knock on the creepy door and this really pale looking guy answers and immediately invites us before we can say why we're there. We eventually tell him and he says we can stay the night and get help on car the next day. We go to sleep and during the night i wake...contiuned in next to the sound of someone whispering my name..."Liiiisa, Liiiisa, come to me Liiisa", so i get out of bed to investigate. I follow my name and i'm drawn to the master of the house where he hypnotises me. Apparantly, it turns out, i'm the spitting image of his long-lost love...cliched right? Meanwhile, Jensen wakes to an empty bed and goes looking for me. He finds me just in time as the master Vampire is about to bite me and join me forever to him as his one true love his side. Jensen, however, is having none of that. He grabs a sword from the metal knight next to him and challenges the master to a duel...the winner wins me. He accepts and they duel. Jensen of course wins after one hefty fight but the master goes back on his word and lunges at Jensen. Jensne slashes him with the sword and then grabs a wooden chair and smashes it against the wall so it breaks, he grabs a shard of the wood and stakes it right into the master's heart, killing him instantly. Continued in next... He turns to me and grabs my hand and we run out of the house and jump into horse drawn carriage (i know totally cliched again!) and speed away as fast as we can! We live happily ever after and have 10 children ;) 4. Dean's of course!!! If Anna can have then so can i! And i would totally without a second thought sacrifice myself for that little hottie!!! 5. Like i said in 3 - Jensen & 10 kids. 5 of each i think. First we have twins - Piper Isobel & Julie Marie. The comes Jared Jensen (Jensen wanted Jensen Jr, but i don't like that. Jared suggests his name and it fits!). Then Dylan Joshua (Joshua after Joshua's brother), another set of twins being Tia Mackenzie (Mackenzie after Jensen's sister) & Cammie Jo (i love that name). The final girl is Savannah Charlotte. The final boys are triplets and they are Jeremiah James, Lucas Tristan & Dean Samuel (had to have their names from Supernatural as one)! I think we'll have to Golden Labrador's too - Goldie & Zeke. And that's my answers!!! x Sorry for some of the spelling mistakes. Joshua after Jensen's brother i meant! x I'm running out of ideas for a Part 7!!! But'll try to think of more, maybe 7 for the number too x
Planning my first trip to Hawaii..any advice? Hello:) Thanks for checking out my question. 3 friends of mine and I are planning our first trip to Hawaii. Since we've all wanted to go for a really long time and have saved up a really good chunk of money(and still saving), we decided that our first trip we wanted to do just right! However, where to start? We kind've want to get a feel for Hawaii first and experience as much as possible..so that way, in the future when we do another trip we know where we want to go..Here are some of the questions I need help with and ANY advice anybody can help me out with I would be GREATLY appreciative: -What time of year is best to go? -What is the best Island to visit? -Should we visit more than one island?? -Where are the best places for nightlife and dining? -Where are the best places for sightseeing? -Where are the best beaches? -Where are the most secluded places?? Ive noticed its harder to plan a trip to Hawaii than anywhere in the US.. I'm trying to dig up as much information as possible... any help I can receive would truely make my day:) thanks! have a great day!
Suppose I punch out my soon to be ex-boss.? Here's my story, sorry if it's a bit lengthy. At the tragic expense of my grandfather's sudden and early death, I've recived my multi-million dollar inheritence earlier than anticipated. He was an executive for Warren Buffets Berkshire Hathaway and bought up several hundred shares of stock while they were dirt cheap. My current financial situation is this: A 41 year annuity of $807'000.00 a year (Actually direct deposits monthly.) Also a secluded beach house in the Hawaiian islands as my permanent residence, with a just hired staff of a butler/cook and a housekeeper. And 2.5 Million remaining in uncommited dollars spread out in three bank accounts, that will be my retirement when my annuity runs out at the age of 61. As you can see, I'm a 20 years man and set for life. Further more, and you can correct me if I'm wrong about this, that's why I'm here asking, but it would seem that I have nothing to lose when I go in for my final check. You see, a week from this friday, I go in for my final check (Turned over to charity of course). I am assistant manager at a golf course and absolutly despise the boss. She has made the last year of my life miserable, and instead of going out with a handshake, I'm thinking of going out with a literal bang. Because, I live in Pensacola county Florida, and my flight to my new life in Hawaii is 11am a week from friday in Tampa. So, two hours before the flight, I get there at opening at 9am, noone else is there, I get my check, rough her up a bit then high tail it out of there. This is my opinion: Even though Tampa, the location of the airport is a neighboring county, the process of extradition remains nonetheless. So, even if she can tell the police I'm theat I'm at the airport (Which I do not believe she would know, I didn't tell anyone the exact date), there would be way too much legistical stuff to be able to get me before the flight takes off. (Even if they did, I could pay my bail, then leave, and consider it worth it.) As single mom collecting child support, we can rule out her suing. She would not only have travel expense that she likely cannot afford, but there's absolutly no way on earth she can afford an attorney who can take on the one I hire. Not to sound like I'm gloating, but I can afford any attorney on earth, she cannot. She'd have trouble meeting her burden of proof anyway, with no cameras on the course premises. Not to mention as little as a few K's can easily buy a jurors vote(In a civil case that big I can opt for a jury.) Expect her to not even consider civil action. I don't like her attitude, but she's not downright stupid. Last but not least, this IS a repost. I'm asking again because last time everyone was talking about extradition. Consider it this way: The DA is going to pay out of his budget, provided by taxpayers, to have me extradited all the way back from Hawaii over a simple assualt charge. He's gonna cover the expense of my arrest in Hawaii, and pay to put me on a plane, and fly me halfway across the pacific just to get to the west coast, than transfer planes on or two times back to tampa? Simple assault charge? I think we can rule out extradition of that distance for 90 % of all crimes. So, am I foolproof.
Honeymoons in the US? My fiance and I are wanting to stay in the US for our honeymoon so we do not need a passport. We want to go to a beach. We are considering Hawaii, Florida, or California. Does anyone have any suggestions on cities or hotels? We are interested in a quiet area. What about Hawaii, which part of Hawaii is more secluded? Any ideas at all or stories from your honeymoon in the US would be appreciated.
Looking for a good place to stay for 10 days in Maui, Hawaii (South end). Like the 5* perks but need 2 bedroom We are meeting our 22 year old son who will be on leave from the war zone...would like things for him to do, bars, etc plus would like the privacy of two rooms-thought renting a condo would be too secluded but the resorts seem to be running $500 - $1000 per night and it looks like we would have to actually book two rooms? Also would like a kitchen. If there was something affordable nearby the bars/spas, etc. on the beach, would love suggestions. Thanks! Would also like it to have a fitness center if possible
Hawaii Honeymoon Planning Advice Please!? My fiancé and I are getting married on May 10th 2008. We are so excited about taking our Honeymoon to Hawaii, since neither of us has been there. We are open to the island we stay at but do NOT want to stay in a hotel. We are looking for a private condo on the beach so we can cook our own food and have the comforts of our “own” home. Something that is nice, yet affordable, our budget will be about $6000 total for maybe 10 days. Also, we want our condo to be secluded but give us the option to take our rental car to a nice dinner, grocery shop and do fun activities. We want to be able to be in somewhat close proximity to swimming with dolphins, a zip line experience, surf lessons, horseback riding and jet skiing. So if anyone has any lodging recommendations and activity information I would really appreciate it. Like I mentioned we have no idea where to begin with planning and are hoping we can find the island of our dreams. We are hoping to make this the trip of a lifetime!
Bahamas, Fiji, Jamaica or Hawaii for a honeymoon? hello! My fiancee and I are planning our wedding about 2 years in advance (so we arnt stressed when it comes closer) (so this is for 2013 , but i dont think that matters) we plan on having the wedding july 27th and leaving a few days after for our honeymoon. We are in a toss up btwn the bahamas, Fiji, Jamaica, and hawaii. So far the bahamas have looked most appealing, but I heard all they are about is money there, like it is ridiculous. we would like/ are looking for the following in a honeymoon location: horseback riding on the beach, possibly interacting with dolphins, the best hotel for the money (under $300 night), if possible...all inclusive, a spa area, jet ski or wake board, i really want to go to a swim up bar but its not a must, food options (I am somewhat of a picky eater), secluded and private hotel but we can go leave to see attractions and people if you get what im saying haha. That is about it, we would like to stay for 1-2 weeks depending on $$$. But I would like to hear your choice, especially if you have went on a honeymoon to one of the following choices, and if you have any other "must look into" destinations, feel free to tell! thank you so much!! (: flying out of ohio
Which of the Hawaiian islands to visit for honeymoon? Although I won't take my honeymoon right after the wedding, I am considering Hawaii to visit (early next year) but just from my research, it seems just about all of the Hawaiian islands are beautiful! I'm not into being around so many tourists. I want something romantic, somewhat secluded, exciting, water activities, beaches, fine dining, etc. I guess something balanced. I also don't know how long I want to stay. If I was to do a week, maybe 1 or 2 islands tops. If I stay for 2 weeks, maybe 2-3 islands at most. I don't want to spend so much time traveling. I thought the following islands would fit me: Oahu Maui, Kauai If I do 2 weeks, maybe 4 days on each island? Is that enough time? Probably would cost me an arm and a leg but why not. It will be my first time visiting. I heard if I'm in Maui, I can do one day trips to Lanai and Molokai. Any advice would be appreciated.
being excluded in hawaiii? is there somewhere in hawaii where you can go to a beach and be totally secluded from everything and everyone such as not seeing people or buildings thankyou for your time
What is the best beach on Oahu to get married? My partner and I are getting married in Hawaii end of May 2013 (a little while away yet) but we cannot decide which beach on Oahu would be most suitable for us to have our ceremony. We have rounded it down to a possible 5: Stables Beach or Papailoa on the North Shore, Kailua Beach, Lanikai Beach or Waimanalo Beach. It is very difficult looking at pictures as they are all gorgeous!! Our perfect beach would be very secluded, don't want too many people around if any, with no hotels or buildings in our view, with gorgeous sand and views of the mountains - not sure if this exists? If someone with experience of the island could give us some tips or suggestions, we would be most grateful.

Private Beach Resorts in USA? I've been looking everywhere, but all of them seem to NOT be private, or secluded, I'm looking to spend about $1500 on the hotel for 7 nights. I've been looking into Florida, and Hawaii seems too expensive but if there are any there also, maybe California, and any others if you know of any great ones. 10 points for best suggestion. Thanks for your help.
Ever wish you had more friends? I live in Hawaii and there's so much to do. Beach, bonfire and hanging out at a secluded place. The problem is I have friends but they don't belong in the same group, they are separated. I get so jealous of those people who have friends that are in one big group, mine is either my best friend and her friends. My friends and some other people. I just wish I had friends like that '70s show where we all know each other and families and all hang out together and its coed. Ever wished for that? If you have that type of friendship, Happy for you, I'm jealous.
Down to $1,000, no job, single, minimal financial obligations, where can I move? I'll make this fast and fun for you. I want to move to a secluded place in the Caribbean where I can live a simple life. What makes me different than most people is that I am single, I have no children, no past relationship issues, no financial obligations and have passes to fly anywhere I want. I am a US Citizen and have already checked out San Juan and St. Thomas. I've also been to Hawaii. I'm looking to live somewhere tropical that will allow me to commute by bicycle where I need to go. I am down to my last thousand dollars and I am getting off the mainland soon. Can anyone recommend a place I might find a job, that's bicycle friendly and has the majority of things I need in place including nice beaches? Key West may be a possibility though I think it is relatively expensive to live there. Thanks. Thanks for the information. I have considered St. Croix but like St. Thomas and St. John, it does have a mountainous landscape. As far as the Dominican Republic goes, I would love to live and work there but unfortunately, I might run into two problems. First off, I'm a US Citizen and contrary to popular belief, you can not just waltz into another country and begin working. There is a process and procedure you must go through and some countries make it impossible for foreigners to work within. The second issue might be that since everything is so cheap, where do you find even a mediocre paying job that balances out with the local cost of living. Third, I do not speak Spanish. You guys are on the right track but I'm not sure how effective moving to another country will prove to be. Immigration violation (eventually) plus no right to work within.
Wedding plans!!!!!!!!!!? If I plan on having a destianation wedding in Hawaii, I currently live in Texas, do you think less people will show up because of airline tickets? I used to live in Hawaii when I was younger, and I loved it. I plan on getting married in a beautiful secluded garden and then have the reception on the beach but of course nice and fancy. How do you like my idea? Oh and at the end I want just a couple of fireworks at the end of the reception.
Where is this place in photo? & What is this kind of beach called? 1) Please can any one tell where exactly is this place? 2) Like, if it is in Hawaii then where it is in Hawaii? 3) If there are more then one places like this, I will surely love to know. 4) What is this kind of beach or sea called, what is correct term for it? 5) Are there any secluded/deserted places like this with water 3 to 4 feet deep and where are they? Link for photo http://cs.nju.edu.cn/gchen/news/hawaii.jpg Thanks every one for your answers. :))))
Hawaiian residents/experts: Please help us plan our honeymoon!? We'll be traveling to Hawaii in May 2009. We'll be there for 7 days. We're planning on going to two islands: Oahu and either Maui or Kauai. Important things on our trip: Pearl Harbor, Hanauma Bay, white sand, calm clear water, great food, and lots of fresh pineapple. We're not as concerned with finding a totally secluded place as we are with a clean hotel/resort on a gorgeous beach. We don't mind to rent a car on both islands. Which island should we visit besides Oahu? What order should we visit our two islands? How many days each? Something I didn't mention - I've been to Oahu before, so exploring the island is not a must. I just want my husband-to-be to get a chance to see what he wants. He's most interested in Pearl Harbor while I would love to visit Hanauma Bay for snorkeling again. We will probably stay at either the Royal Hawaiian or the Hilton Hawaiian Village there (I know, touristy; but nice, clean, and convenient). As for the second island, we want to stay somewhere that's right on the beach and isn't so secluded that we have to drive 30+ miles to eat dinner. So with that in mind, Oahu first or second?

Which Hawaii island should I visit? I'm looking for a quiet place that doesn't have crowded beaches and over-booked hotels. Something secluded and relaxing with beautiful scenery where I can go snorkeling and cliff-diving.
Kalama beach , oahu. Good Beach? Going to take a long weekend to hawaii around maybe may. Want to make the most of the trip. Are there any hotels on this beach? Do you know of a secluded hotel right on the beach on any of the islands? Thank you . Any information is appreciated
