Secluded beaches in Luzon? The type of which camping is the only option for overnight, a boat ride from the coast, no other people would be present on the beach/island and survival is the key?
I want to holiday with my girlfriend on a secluded beach, or anywhere private, suggestions? Australia.? I don't have a lot of money, so it needs to be relatively low budget. The perfect holiday would be a private beach or island, white sand, blue water, no other people. But that'd be out of my price range. So can anyone suggest a romantic, private place to holiday in Australia. Hot weather and beaches would be a plus. Even camping on a tropical beach would be good, anything private. Any ideas of what I should do?
What Caribbean island or destination is not popular to tourism with somewhat secluded beaches and nice water? I am a US Citizen looking to travel to a Caribbean style island I can just lay on and rot. I want to lay in a hammock 24/7. If I could find a small piece of untouched land somewhere I would. But we know that isn't going to happen. So what's my next best bet? I was thinking the US Virgin Islands but thats obviously a popular destination. OR if anyone knows of a tucked away secluded specific location in a popular tourist area, that would be fine too. this might be asking too much but.. a small crumb box outdoor bar not far away from that area would also be nice.. try to be creative.. in my search, I came across Coco Blanco .. which is really cool.. almost exactly what I'm looking for.. maybe a little bigger.. I dont know.. images.google.com it
What beaches are near Hilo on the Big Island? I am leaving in a day! We are going to be there for 10 days, ofcourse I am sure we will drive around, but I was wondering if there are any secluded little beaches or big beaches in or right near Hilo?
Where should my boyfriend and I go in Hawaii? We are going on a vacation together in a couple of weeks and are trying to plan it. Which island should we go to? We are looking for beautiful, somewhat secluded beaches with the light blue water and the whole tropical essence! I keep switching islands that I like because I cant seem to find one that is just right. We are not going for a party trip but are looking for more of the romantic, beautiful and more private aspects of Hawaii where there aren't loads of people everywhere. We are not on much of a budget so we want to go all out. Any suggestions?
Help with sandy beaches please?..........? Which of the Mediterranean islands has the nicest, small, secluded, SANDY beaches?? holiday brochures and web sites all boast this but on arrival they are quite often pebble/shingle infested, feet killing nightmares!!! (Especially some greek islands)
I am eighteen years old. how do i uproot and move to a secluded beach hut on some island. Ill give up evrythn? I was thinking of working all summer to save up for the move. I am just not into the normal american, rat race, lifestyle. I want to just live with no stress or worries. since at this point in my life i have no debt or responsibilities its the best time to uproot and go. I have my passport. I just want to get away. I don't need much. Just shelter, food, and a beach to just be. Everything helps. Thanks to whoever can help me, i'm kinda lost as to how to make it happen. Direction is needed.
Over Sea Beach Huts in Seychelles? Hi there, We are having our honeymoon in the Seychelles in late September/Early October, and would love to put the icing on the cake by staying in a beach hut over the sea (like they have in the Maldives). I am struggling to find some - can anyone please help? If not, suggestions on a great secluded island beach hut etc would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Ben
Public beaches in Florida? I've seen a few different sources (from a YouTube video to an FSU law school webpage) that all say that pretty much all of the coastal beach in Florida is "public". Is this true? If so, how can this be, you can see people build houses right on the coast up to the sand. Does this mean the sand behind their homes is still regarded as "public" beach? I'm confused especially because I come from Long Island, NY, and beach land was treated pretty differently there....there were a few public state and county parks along the shore, but aside from that, there were definitely private access-restricted beaches and landowners that owned their own beaches...really unless you were in a "park" of some sort (Jones Beach SP, Robert Moses SP, etc...), it wasn't public land... The real reason I ask is because I'm just looking for a nice, preferably secluded/undeveloped beach in northeast FL to enjoy and I haven't really seen any established "parks" where you go to the beach, like I said, unlike how it was in my hometown...Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for all the responses. So, does anyone know any beaches in northern Florida (but not the panhandle...I'm in Gainesville so preferably ~2 hours max from there) that are secluded, pretty, and natural? Preferably with a pier of some sort..
What are good Secluded Romantic places in kauai? My wife and I after 10 years are going to Kauai and one of her fantasies is to make love on the Islands. I have heard of a few places but i thought i would ask some real people. it does not have to be a beach or totally public. Can anyone help, and be sincere about it?? Thanks for advise.
Question for the Women? (part 3 of 3)? You have obviously impressed this guy (see parts 1 and 2). He has asked for your hand in marriage. Your final mission, if your choose to take it, is to answer the following: 1. Big church wedding or small gathering on a secluded island beach? 2. White wedding gown or one that is 'not so white?' 3. Move to his town or stay in yours? 4. Have five children together (in addition to 'his' five) or be childless? 5. Live happily ever after or divorce 'down the road?' ++++++++++++ __________________________________________ Sum of the parts (plus part 1 and 2)= your description, what is it?
Quiet beaches in Nassau, Bahamas? My bf and I are going to Nassau/Paradise Island on a cruise. We want to get away from the tourists and would like to find a secluded beach where we can explore and snorkel a little bit. We only have 1 day to visit and we'll have to be back on our ship by 5 p.m. Suggestions anyone? Anything will help!
Please help with this Macro-Economics question? Say you are watching your favorite television program, and a commercial comes on. A soothing voice begins to describe your imaginary vacation in the lush, tropical paradise of Timbucktoo (a remote island in the South Pacific-fictitious of course), while pictures of rain forests and secluded beaches flash across your T.V. screen. The commercial begins to describe your daily itinerary while showing you the “gentle and friendly” native peoples of Timbucktoo, performing native dances and other activities to the delight of the tourists. You begin to think (sadly enough!) about macroeconomics. You wonder about these “gentle and friendly” people of Timbucktoo living on an island thousands of miles away from anything out in the middle of the South Pacific, and you ask yourself why the people of Timbucktoo would desire tourism to come to their peaceful and secluded island? What could they possibly do with that added aggregate income (generated by tourism) when they are out in the middle of nowhere. What could they possibly spend their money on? What about the pollution and the noise? The hustle and bustle, the crime! And what about their peaceful and gentle way of life? Is it worth sacrificing for more income? As we have discussed, increases in GDP and aggregate income do not always mean the level of well-being and happiness increase as well for all citizens of a society. With this in mind, please explain your thoughts or insights regarding this hypothetical commercial. 10 Points asap!! I promise!! =P

Which Hawaiian island is the best for honeymoon? Me + my fiance are planning to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon. I'm not sure which island would be best.. I want to stay somewhere that is semi-secluded. (On the beach, not in a big high-rise bld) but also not FAR from things to do. It seems like theres LOTS to do in Waikiki.. Is there much to do on Maui like zoos, historical stuff, shopping etc.. Any ideas where/what part of the islands we should stay in? As well as any attractions you know of? Thanks!
Which of the Hawaiian islands to visit for honeymoon? Although I won't take my honeymoon right after the wedding, I am considering Hawaii to visit (early next year) but just from my research, it seems just about all of the Hawaiian islands are beautiful! I'm not into being around so many tourists. I want something romantic, somewhat secluded, exciting, water activities, beaches, fine dining, etc. I guess something balanced. I also don't know how long I want to stay. If I was to do a week, maybe 1 or 2 islands tops. If I stay for 2 weeks, maybe 2-3 islands at most. I don't want to spend so much time traveling. I thought the following islands would fit me: Oahu Maui, Kauai If I do 2 weeks, maybe 4 days on each island? Is that enough time? Probably would cost me an arm and a leg but why not. It will be my first time visiting. I heard if I'm in Maui, I can do one day trips to Lanai and Molokai. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hollywood actor's seed.? I am the son of this Hollywood actor in his mid-40s right now. He got just got his kid with this beautiful Hollywood actress in her early 30's. I really want to meet him and tell him that i do exist; his son, but my mother won't let me because she said it will make controversy and things won't be the same again for me if the media will find out. My mom and him met on this secluded private beach island here in the Philippines where he used to go before. We met before but i was not introduced to him. I'm already in my 20's this time and he still don't know that I do exist in his life. Do i still need to let him know? Does introducing myself is a good idea?. I want to straighten things here. Me and my mom were hiding for so long. I pity my mother everytime she saw this man on TV, my father who abandoned her. I was raised by my mother alone. It's just so heartbreaking for me. Please help...
Best island for hiking in Greece? I am looking to visit Greece in May - do the touristy stuff in Athens & Delphi and then go to a nice secluded island to do some hiking - something cheap and scenic... not looking for crowded beaches/bars/etc.. any suggestions? Thanks!
What is the best Hawaiian Island to get married on? We will be getting married in June of 2011. I'm really torn between which Hawaiian to go to get married on. I've heard great things about Kauai and Maui and mixed reviews on the Big Island and Oahu. We're looking for is a secluded, beautiful, & romantic beach to get married on. Also something with attractions and sights to see. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Which island in the bahamas is the best for me? I might be going there in the summer with 2 or 3 of my friends and I was wondering which island has some really nice beaches. I also dont want it to be too secluded, I wanna go to parties and maybe some shopping too. And tell me the best hotels to stay which are close to the beach.
Which Greek island to go with girlfriend? Secluded, culture, relaxed? Please help!? I am looking to spend a week away on one of the Greek islands with my girlfriend but haven't a clue which one! We are also on a tight budget but have specific requirements and would appreciate some help. What I would like: Quiet and secluded Beautiful scenery Local culture Good local and reasonably priced food Simple bars with good wine/ cold beer My ideal day will involved breakfast with a few people milling around A stroll to a quite beach for some relaxing in the sun and sea and afternoon bike ride Simple restaurant overlooking the sea with maybe 20 other guests Repeat as necessary till sufficiently relaxed. I want to avoid like the plague: Strips of cheesy bars Anything that attracts anything remotely like a stag or hen party Crowds of people sitting on rows of plastic furniture eating 'English Breakfast' from 'Joe's English Pub' I have looked at Thassos but after reading a few reviews of the Hotel we had planned on I'm not so sure it's great for couples. I'm 26 and my girlfriend older but I'm more Radio 4 than club 18-30.... Any help and ideas much appreciated.
Looking for a secluded tropical island to move to that might be ok for the homeless? I am looking for an island I can move to in the Caribbean or elsewhere that has at least some flat elevation I can move to. I will be homeless by choice when arriving and will be sleeping in a hammock on the beach somewhere. Any place that has some degree of flat land in areas that matter would be helpful. Also, if tourism wasn't surging that would help. I was thinking St. Croix, USVI because it is less of a popualr attraction as opposed to St. Thomas. But I'm not sure any flat land exists on St. Croix. I was thinking Little Cayman but I don't know how well that is policed and I am a US Citizen. What about central america or south america? I have no idea how I will find work but I'm hoping I can find a beach shack to get started at. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
Suppose I punch out my soon to be ex-boss.? Here's my story, sorry if it's a bit lengthy. At the tragic expense of my grandfather's sudden and early death, I've recived my multi-million dollar inheritence earlier than anticipated. He was an executive for Warren Buffets Berkshire Hathaway and bought up several hundred shares of stock while they were dirt cheap. My current financial situation is this: A 41 year annuity of $807'000.00 a year (Actually direct deposits monthly.) Also a secluded beach house in the Hawaiian islands as my permanent residence, with a just hired staff of a butler/cook and a housekeeper. And 2.5 Million remaining in uncommited dollars spread out in three bank accounts, that will be my retirement when my annuity runs out at the age of 61. As you can see, I'm a 20 years man and set for life. Further more, and you can correct me if I'm wrong about this, that's why I'm here asking, but it would seem that I have nothing to lose when I go in for my final check. You see, a week from this friday, I go in for my final check (Turned over to charity of course). I am assistant manager at a golf course and absolutly despise the boss. She has made the last year of my life miserable, and instead of going out with a handshake, I'm thinking of going out with a literal bang. Because, I live in Pensacola county Florida, and my flight to my new life in Hawaii is 11am a week from friday in Tampa. So, two hours before the flight, I get there at opening at 9am, noone else is there, I get my check, rough her up a bit then high tail it out of there. This is my opinion: Even though Tampa, the location of the airport is a neighboring county, the process of extradition remains nonetheless. So, even if she can tell the police I'm theat I'm at the airport (Which I do not believe she would know, I didn't tell anyone the exact date), there would be way too much legistical stuff to be able to get me before the flight takes off. (Even if they did, I could pay my bail, then leave, and consider it worth it.) As single mom collecting child support, we can rule out her suing. She would not only have travel expense that she likely cannot afford, but there's absolutly no way on earth she can afford an attorney who can take on the one I hire. Not to sound like I'm gloating, but I can afford any attorney on earth, she cannot. She'd have trouble meeting her burden of proof anyway, with no cameras on the course premises. Not to mention as little as a few K's can easily buy a jurors vote(In a civil case that big I can opt for a jury.) Expect her to not even consider civil action. I don't like her attitude, but she's not downright stupid. Last but not least, this IS a repost. I'm asking again because last time everyone was talking about extradition. Consider it this way: The DA is going to pay out of his budget, provided by taxpayers, to have me extradited all the way back from Hawaii over a simple assualt charge. He's gonna cover the expense of my arrest in Hawaii, and pay to put me on a plane, and fly me halfway across the pacific just to get to the west coast, than transfer planes on or two times back to tampa? Simple assault charge? I think we can rule out extradition of that distance for 90 % of all crimes. So, am I foolproof.
Where is your favorite place to be and why? Where is your favorite place to be and why? Please answer with HONESTY and SAPPINESS IS permitted! LOL! My question comes as I am heading out to be at one of my special places. I was born on Whidbey Island (NAS) and that is where I spent a good portion of my life. I have many fond memories of Whidbey and my life there. There are two spots I actually really enjy, both are along the beach. The first is close to the Deception Pass Bridge - its insight when on that side of the point and attainable within a short hike. The waves lap the beach side, there are plenty of logs to sit upon, rocks and sand abound. The smell of the salty water and evergreen trees mix with the sounds of the waves and the seagulls. The other is mid island and partially secluded. Its where we go when we want to go to the beach but dont want to be surrounded by the hoards of tourists. Ahh -just thot I'd ask you to share too.
What tropical island has minimal tourism and a low number of inhabitants that US citizens can live on? Looking for a tropical island or subtropical island with tropical waters that is either secluded, not heavily toured or has a low number of inhabitants (relatively speaking). Any ideas? I just want to get away to a secluded area I can put up a hammock and lay on the beach for eternity. oh yeah.. and its not a requirement.. but a beach bar somewhere in the area would be nice.. so I can get some tropical drinks
Can anyone recommend a honeymoon destination in Greece? We are looking to book our honeymoon for next year. Ideally we are looking for a private villa, on the beach that is pretty secluded. But we'd like to go somewhere where there are a range of activities/water sports etc to do nearby. Also, we'd quite like to be near a small town or village with some bars and restaurants - but far enough away to still be peaceful at the villa! Any suggestions? We'd also like somewhere where its possible to go 'island hopping' Thanks for your time!
Australia/new zealand, best place to take a cruise? my logic in detail, i do acknowledge it is my opinion.? I am young & haven't travel much besides asia. If i go to the carribbeans I will like to fly & live there since its cheap doing stuff on my own schedule. If i go to europe i would like to go to spain, france, italy, and greece in 1 trip and on land so i don't have time for a cruise. I will take a ferry from italy to greece. Seeing northern light is cool but i don't really have a strong want of taking a cruise there yet since i have so much more of the world to experience. and as some article online says: Splendid landscapes, secluded beaches, stunning glaciers, super-friendly citizens, scenic cities like Sydney and Auckland; a cruise vacation to Australia and New Zealand will surely leave incredible memories. From snorkeling in THE GREAT CORRAL REEFS to traversing the rugged and barren OUTBACK, every visitor is guaranteed a great time. Hop off to the lush greenery of New Zealand. Explore both the South and North Islands of New Zealand. Visit Christchurch and Wellington and many more. I feel like the great corral reef & the outback really separates this cruise from carribbean or meditteranean cruises. What do you guys think of this. I want to hear your insightful opinions
How are u spending your Valentines ? Me and my girl drove to the beach in the early morn, we walked in the sand while the sun was rising, the air was crisp and everything was great. For lunch we rowed us to a lovely shaded secluded island and had a beautiful quiet pinic there. Dinner, that was something special, we went back to my place and I set up the most romantic atmosphere she said she ever saw. I had the peddles of her most beloved white roses paved on the ground, the lights were dimmed as she went in and I had a candle light dinner waiting for her, we also had some relaxing music to go with it. It was the best dream I ever had.
Which lady is up for this? My Idea of a romantic weekend A spur of the moment trip to a tropical Island with lots of sun and sandy beaches. A night of dancing and drinking thoes little tropical conctions with a unbrella in it. Then a night in bed at a cabana on a secluded beach. The windows and the french doors wide open overlooing the beach and ocean. Drapes fluttering and candels all around the room flickering from the ocean breeze. The sun going down on the horzion outside the door. While passionatly being made love to till the candels burn out.
How to have an Island Honeymoon? Is it possible to rent an island for your honeymoon? I want something really secluded where you could walk out from the house right to the warm beach. Some place where you could go for midnight swims... naked.

BEST party All NIGHT and DAY!Destination?? I would like to go on a real crazy party holiday this summer and am looking for the best one. Ive heard Aiya Napa Cyprus and Malia in Crete. Any other sujestions? Oh and i have a great one for anybody interested. The island of Pag in croatia is good fun.Its only 11 km long and 4 km wide but the lively town of Novalja is packed with party people. The party beach Zrce is the hot spot where clubs line the beach.Transportation is easy to acess as it is in the middle of the town and busses run every few minutes to and from the beach.Partys start at 16:00 and end at 7 .Nice people there too apart from the people that work there ,they are quite rude.Other wise its great fun .If you want to relax just rent a quad bike or a scooter and find a secluded beach there are plenty.I do warn there arn't many sandy beaches ..just little pebbles. And make sure you stay in the town of Novalja because the other small villages are far away from the party and unless you want to drive you won't get there.

I am moving there in a little less then a year and have some questions. is rincon a city or more secluded costal town/jungle? how easy/difficult is it to find employment?(americans) is there a wide variety of affodable bars/restraunts? My husband is flirting with another woman, what should I do? He met her at some party or other, and then they agreed to go to this Jolly Roger Hotel, Smugglers Island, Leathercombe Bay, Cornwall - now I understand why he was so persistent and wanted to come here (I wanted to go to Italy where we had out honeymoon). Patrick is very handsome, and Arlena Marshall is, too, men can't get their eyes off her, and she was an actress, and men are constantly going crazy about her. She is married, but it does not bother her. They are constantly having little conversations, giving each other little looks, and go on boating together, meet each other on secluded beaches, swim together, and when I talk to Patrick, he becomes angry and says that they are just friends, and that I am very jealous, and that he should be allowed to have friends of any gender. What should I do?
What is your favorite city that you have visited or lived in? I'm seeking a place that has warm & sunny weather year round (or at least a short winter), plenty of greenery (not just parks within a city) with panoramic views & bodies of water, yet within close proximity to a lively European-like city with historic buildings and beautiful architecture, cafes, museums, and bookstores where I can walk for hours.Safety, job availability,& affordability is also a must. I've lived in the suburbs & a large university town of NJ, San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, & the island of Oahu in Hawaii.I've also visited NYC,Philly,&Prague.I really love Hawaii's weather, mountain ranges, green countryside, secluded beaches, & I fell in love with the history & architecture of Prague.I enjoy the cafes & used bookstores of San Francisco, museums & clubs of NYC and Philly, & the academic opportunities of a college town.I'm not much in need of endless shopping outlets, crazy nightlife, or tons of tourism. Am I being too idealistic or does a place like this exist?? Thanks

Assateague Island beach? I'm thinking of taking a little trip to Assateague Island beach next spring. Would anyone be able to tell me about the place? What is it like? Romantic? Secluded? How does it look? I'm having trouble finding good photos of it on the internet.
Where can I find cheap hot beach holidays departing from the UK? Hello, My husband and I are newly weds and are looking to get away briefly in October. We are looking to visit a beach/island somewhere hot. We would ideally like somewhere very secluded, non-touristy, not too built up. We have been trying to find websites where we could rent a small isolated accommodation, but have had no luck. Every deal we find is in a large hotel or in a "bustling town". We don't mind where as long as it's cheap to get to, has a beach and is hot. Any website suggestions, which aren't the usual lastminute sites, or something a bit different would also be very helpful! Thanks! Caitlin
what are some vacation getaway spots like montauk? i want to go somewhere with my girlfriend this summer that is like montauk. Ya know like a nice beach and nice little town or whatever. My only prob is that montauk is other than like sightseeing and eating there isnt much to do. it seems very secluded from other towns since it is at the tip of the island. i want to go somewhere like montauk, but that has other towns within like twenty minute driving range of it. i live on long island and dont really want to drive anywhere further than 4 hours.
Do you really feel sorry for Natalee Holloway? I don't. I'm sorry, but she did some pretty stupid things. Do you feel sorry for someone who smokes a hit of crack and then his heart explodes and dies? I don't. He knew the risks of the drug, but still did it anyway. Same thing with Holloway. She was in a foreign country, Aruba. She was 18 from Alabama. What, her parents never taught her to not go off on a secluded beach alone with 3 foreigners on a resort island 1000's of miles away from home at 3 am? What she did was stupid. She got drunk, and left her girlfriends behind and then went off with 3 guys to a beach. I feel for her parents, and it sucks she died. But, when you do stupid things, bad things can happen. Like, you don't take a bath, and then put a hairdryer in the tub, you will get electrocuted and die. Didn't she learn these lessons as a kid. What good is teaching your kids lessons, if their just going to go off to some island and break all the rules you taught them?
the bahamas?? I have never been anywhere outside of ny, pennsylvania, and new jersey, so....i am having trouble booking and understanding the flight and hotel and travel details. i also dont know that much about the islands of the bahamas. so, i would like to know are the beaches very crowded in mid to late august? (on grand bahama island) is there a good island to choose to have a more secluded or less crowded beach? also, can you just swim in the ocean, or do you have to have lessons, or something? if someone who knows anything about this could respond, i have a bunch of questions, and would really appreciate any help! thanks so much.
Kalama beach , oahu. Good Beach? Going to take a long weekend to hawaii around maybe may. Want to make the most of the trip. Are there any hotels on this beach? Do you know of a secluded hotel right on the beach on any of the islands? Thank you . Any information is appreciated

Translation to Spanish, please? Carbon Beach, Paradise Cove, Escondido Beach, Surfrider Beach, Broad Beach, Pirate's Cove, Westward Beach, Zuma Beach, and Trancas are places along the coast in Malibu. Point Dume forms the northern end of the Santa Monica Bay, and Point Dume Headlands Park affords a vista of stretching to the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Santa Catalina Island. Directly below the park, on the western side of the point, is Pirates Cove, named for rumrunners during prohibition who liked the secluded beach for offloading their cargo. Because of its seclusion, Pirate's Cove is now used as a nude beach. On the eastern side of the point is "Little Dume", an excellent surf spot which is accessible only by an unmarked trail below Wildlife Drive which has a locked gate. Surfers often paddle out from Paradise Cove to the area when the waves are breaking.
I have a description of a trip that I took that I was wondering if someone could re-write in authentic French? Here is the story that I wanted to have re-written in conversational French, as it would be described by a French resident with their forms of speaking and idioms and phrases used, versus a word for word translation which is what I think I already have from a program used. Last summer, I took a trip out to Kaua’i, HI, where my parents live to visit them and see remaining old friends from when I used to live there a few years earlier. I was interested in being more active this time out there and didn’t want to be inside the house as often as I had been before in the past. So, I left my laptop here in Virginia, packed more realistically for what I wanted to do, such as mountain biking, kayaking, a re-venture of surfing, any hiking that might be possible to get others to come along for, and hopefully a day of paintball. The biking is what I did on the days when nothing else could be planned to do. The first time was an invite from a friend from my old church who asked me if I’d want to hit some trails with him the next town over. So I agreed, happy at the idea to have a challenging trip out with someone else, and saw new spots of my former island that I’d never seen before, which was really cool because I like seeing new places, especially of what I thought I already knew. I went out biking another day on my own and revisited the same tracks and had a great workout while soaking in what ended up being too much sun. At the end of that ride, I walked the bike through the sand of a popular beach that was on the way back and washed the sweat off me and swam around briefly in the surf. I had had ideas of getting in one of my parents’ kayaks and going on a solo tour around part of the coast, but that never happened and mostly for the reason that I’m not at the same par to paddle the sensitive-to-rolling kayaks that they’ve always owned in open ocean as I once was, as I was raised doing with them on rivers back when we all lived in Virginia. I also never got to do any paintballing, but I had done that the last trip when I was there for my birthday and still had good memories from that to suffice until my next visit. What I did get invited out to join, that was already being planned, which I had had no prior knowledge of until friends of parents informed them of and asked if I’d want to join in, was a 4 day camping trip at this secluded beach and ground that one has to hike 12 miles in to get to, with everything they plan on bringing to eat, drink and sleep with hiked in. I had always heard wonderful things about the beauty of the valley they were planning on staying at, called Kalalau, and had wanted to go and so agreed. It was a very difficult hike and I was one of the slowest of the group, who most mostly comprised of youth younger than me who could navigate the steep and narrow trails (if some of what we were walking on could even be called that) with ease and enthusiasm. I had a great time out and had some important times by myself while I was out there, reflecting on the beauty of the nature and the mountains just behind us, with the dark clouds of another mountain sprinkle at the ready to activate perpetually hovering halfway down them, and the vast ocean to our front which was always there ready to greet your thoughts and stand as company in agreement to your conclusion of the moment. It was a good time out overall for me, but not because of happy circumstances that I had while out there, but because it further reaffirmed to me that where I’m at now is my element and where to continue on from, and that as beautiful as the island is, it is not my home and I am not its kind of person, of whose priorities and views are a part of their identity and mine, which would clash, would not make any sort of a peaceable living there possible- which is the importance of finding where you fit. ----- And my acquired verbatim translation that I fear is not entirely how it would be expressed from one France resident to another..
How do you kill a ghost? I was attacked? I was having a dream last night..it was an awesome dream. I was on a secluded island with two blond chicks having the time of my life. One of them looked kind of like my sister, but it didn't really bother me in the dream. So we all started doing it on the beach. The next thing I know I wake up covered in slimy ectoplasm!!! I didn't see any, but I think I was attacked by ghosts! They probably got scared away when I woke up, but I am scared that they will come back. I hung garlic around my bed, but I'm worried. How do you kill a ghoul? I don't have a trap. If I paint my face to look like a ghost, will they leave me alone?
Thanks
Hotel or Condos Kauai? I'm planning a trip to Kauai in April with my 2 daughters and my 2 year old grandaughter. Would like to get lodging at the low end. Any suggestions? What side of the island is the least expensive for that time of year? Doesn't need to be an ocean view. Or near the beach. Nothing too secluded.
Where to skinny dip? Looking for some good suggestions of where to skinny dip in Niagara region of Southern Ontario. Want some place private and secluded, don't want to get arrestted, but also do not want to go to Nude beach on toronto Island as it's all old perverts and voyeaurs on boats there and i wouldn't want to make my fiancee or any of the other folks we'll be with uncomfortable. Anyone have any suggestions?
Which Hawaii island should I visit? I'm looking for a quiet place that doesn't have crowded beaches and over-booked hotels. Something secluded and relaxing with beautiful scenery where I can go snorkeling and cliff-diving.

has anyone stayed at sandals royal bahamian resort? how was your stay? was it worth the cost? my wife and i went to couples ocho rios a year ago and we are planning on taking another trip this year...we loved couples in ocho rios, but we want to go somewhere new this year, and we have been looking at the sandals royal bahamian...has anyone been there, if so, how did you enjoy it? how were the meals? was the staff friendly? how were the rooms, etc? any sites or excursions that you would recommend seeing or doing if we were to go there? i see sandals doesnt advertise nude sun bathing, nor do they condone it, but is it allowed on the private island at the royal bahamian, if you were in a secluded area? as i said we went to couples ocho rios and the au naturel island was really relaxing and fun, and we would like to find a place that has something similar...we arent swingers and we are not looking for a lifestyles club like hedonism or desires...we simply would like to stay someplace where we could slip off by ourselves on a secluded section of beach, if you catch my drift....
Car rental place near Luis Muñoz Marín Airport that will rent a car to someone 18? I'm 18 and will be heading to Puerto Rico on Sunday. I really need to rent a car because using a taxi all the time is quite expensive. Is there a rental place near Luis Muñoz Marín Airport that will rent cars to an 18 year old? I have a credit card, valid US drivers license, and have never had a ticket. We are staying in Rio Grande for 4 days and would like to visit the rain forest as well as some of the more secluded beaches on the island.
Another St. Thomas Question? After reviewing former answers to my posts, I feel better equipped to make a decision on where to stay but need a bit more info. Are there any hotels (not condos) close enough to a swimmable beach? Secret Harbour looks great, beach looks great but am leary of staying in a condo owned by individual owners and on the sand. We are traveling during low season(hurricane) so was thinking a hotel near but not right on the sand would be better. ALSO, where is the best part of the island not too secluded from life and where we can access things easily like ferry's shops, etc. Is there a windy side of the island like Kehei in Maui? I have narrowed my hotel stays to Frenchmnans Reef Secret Harbour Bolongo bay Having a hard time making a decision I have heard horrible things about the Ritz so am staying away.
Anyone who has stayed in the Bahamas...? Preferably on either Treasure Cay or Grand Bahama Island. I can't decide which island to stay on. I want it to be pretty secluded but at the same time I want there to be stuff to do besides go to the beach, and I can take 2 day trips to the other island, but I don't know. Help please!
Honeymoon to Greece? I am getting married next month and am interested in honeymooning in greece in Sept. I am so confused as to which island we should stay at. I've heard mixed reviews about Crete, Mykonos, and Santorini. We want to be somewhere relaxing and not too busy but also not too secluded from people. If anyone has been to Greece, what are the beaches like? Are there only black sand beaches? Is sept. a good month to go? Any other recommendations on other honeymoon spots? Thank you
Are there any small resorts in Kauai? I'm trying to find a small scale resort in Kauai on the beach, with good snorkeling at the resort. I don't want to fight over hammocks and beach chairs. Just something small where I can lay on a hammock, read, and get some much needed R&R. Are there any small resorts (Not neck in neck resorts like Oahu) that are secluded and quiet where I can get away from it all? Maybe even a private lanai? I love the looks of Kona Villiage on the big island and would love to find something like that on Kauai. Any suggestions?
Hawaiian residents/experts: Please help us plan our honeymoon!? We'll be traveling to Hawaii in May 2009. We'll be there for 7 days. We're planning on going to two islands: Oahu and either Maui or Kauai. Important things on our trip: Pearl Harbor, Hanauma Bay, white sand, calm clear water, great food, and lots of fresh pineapple. We're not as concerned with finding a totally secluded place as we are with a clean hotel/resort on a gorgeous beach. We don't mind to rent a car on both islands. Which island should we visit besides Oahu? What order should we visit our two islands? How many days each? Something I didn't mention - I've been to Oahu before, so exploring the island is not a must. I just want my husband-to-be to get a chance to see what he wants. He's most interested in Pearl Harbor while I would love to visit Hanauma Bay for snorkeling again. We will probably stay at either the Royal Hawaiian or the Hilton Hawaiian Village there (I know, touristy; but nice, clean, and convenient). As for the second island, we want to stay somewhere that's right on the beach and isn't so secluded that we have to drive 30+ miles to eat dinner. So with that in mind, Oahu first or second?
Have fun when I'm young? How? So... a bunch of guys are trying to get me to go to South Padre Island with them for Spring Break... I said I can't afford to go... plus I don't really like party beaches anyway... I would much rather find a less crowded and more secluded gulf cost town where I can go fishing and enjoy a virgin beach... not the crowds and tire tracks... and the drunks... Anyway... lots of folks are telling me that I'm not having fun while I'm young... I suppose they are right... but how can I have fun? I can't afford to travel like everyone else... I have to struggle to pay my electric bill... Suppose I graduated... then I will be older... and I would have to go to work... What is the point of having "Fun" anyway? Its not feasible to have fun when you are young...
Beach wedding in Florida?? I have always wanted a beach wedding.....only trouble I live in a very small town in Florida and the closest beach that does decent looking weddings is like 2.5 hours away. There is an island near us that me and my fiance go to a lot which is pretty much secluded and I was thinking of having the ceremony there. What do I need to do to make this happen? I mean can my friends and family just go out there the day of the wedding and set everything up? Do I have to do anything through the city as far as planning or letting them know.........I'm have no idea where to start!
advice on living in central america? i want to live there on the beach preferably. i am a us citizen. where would you suggest i plan to stay? i was thinking panama but considering no one would hire me.. maybe not. im also up for islands as long as the real estate for an acre is under 100k. i want to be out of the path of hurricanes for the most part. being secluded isnt an issue as long as im close to an airport. i intend to build my own gas/ solar powered home. so power isnt an issue either suggestions? have you ever been there? lived there? are there passable roads? hospitals? ok the first 3 answers helped me how?

Hawaii Honeymoon Planning Advice Please!? My fiancé and I are getting married on May 10th 2008. We are so excited about taking our Honeymoon to Hawaii, since neither of us has been there. We are open to the island we stay at but do NOT want to stay in a hotel. We are looking for a private condo on the beach so we can cook our own food and have the comforts of our “own” home. Something that is nice, yet affordable, our budget will be about $6000 total for maybe 10 days. Also, we want our condo to be secluded but give us the option to take our rental car to a nice dinner, grocery shop and do fun activities. We want to be able to be in somewhat close proximity to swimming with dolphins, a zip line experience, surf lessons, horseback riding and jet skiing. So if anyone has any lodging recommendations and activity information I would really appreciate it. Like I mentioned we have no idea where to begin with planning and are hoping we can find the island of our dreams. We are hoping to make this the trip of a lifetime!
If your heart feels lonely then read my poem and tell me what you think. All comments welcome.? LONELY HEART Hidden amongst the stormy seas An island sits waiting to capture thee Alone it stands - in the pouring rain Awaiting your soul to comfort the pain. Still Lit with the flame of eternal hope Protecting its treasure with golden rope, As Rays of the sun pierce through the trees When will this love - blow in on a breeze? And gazing of stars in the dark of night Why can I not see you - in my sight? Secluded, a paradise for only two A sacred place for just - me and you. Where dreams flow up - on to the shore, With mountains of pleasure for us to explore. Riding the waves yet still close to the beach Never wondering to far from each others reach, Patiently waiting for you to arrive Preserving this sanctuary - for us to survive A lifetime may come and then it may go But for you I shall wait – my beloved beau.
