Does anyone know of any resorts in Palawan that are located directly on the beach? I am looking for a hotel/resort in Palawan that is located directly on the beach, but close to Puerto Princesa City so that we can still go into town for activities.

Best secluded beach in the Philippines? Not Boracay, it's too much of a party place for me. Palawan is great but I think the the beach (sand strip) leaves much to be desired. What about Siargao? Can anyone recommend a good resort on a great beach? Camigiun? Thanks!

This coming Sept. 28 to Oct. 1 we'll be in Puerto Princesa, Palawan? I would just like to ask if you could give us ideas on which CHEAP resort are available in the place (Puerto Princesa only) since this is our first time to travel here. Better, if you could give us the name of the resort, site and the rates. We're planning to have our whole stay in Puerto Pension since it's cheap but nice place and also offers free continental breakfast. All we ever think of now are the beach resorts and activities available in the said area without us traveling another 2 hours from our hotel. Itinerary would be good too if you have it though. PALAWAN Trip: suggestions? I'm planning a trip to Palawan.. Maybe a 3D/2N trip. I'm looking for a nice beach..and decent toilets (for the resort). Budget per day around Php 5,000/$100. Any tips? I've been researching and found so many locations -- Coron/Central Palawan/ El Nido/ Roxas -- which is best? I'd love to see crystal clear waters.. (maybe ride a boat to a sand bar?) To those who have travelled to Palawan, I'd appreciate your inputs/tips! None of those pricey Club Noah/Amanpulo, etc.. please.. can't afford that! Thanks :)

The land area is: 92,231 Sq.m Total sales value: $368,924 the mainland portion is located at El nido, Palawan, Philippines. It has a long stretch of powdery white sand beach(300 meters) ideal for a resort. Since it's in El nido "Palawan" you can rest assure that the place is gorgeous. Anyone been to Boracay recently? Were the beaches Clean? I am arriving in the Philippines Dec 16 and having some difficulty making up my mind where to go with my fiance for a 7 day romantic, relaxing beach vacation before heading to Olongapo to see family. I keep reading that Boracay is no longer that nice, and that it's beaches are dirty and overcrowded with tourists, is this true? I was leaning more towards Bohol but I'm still not sure. My budget is about $100 a night so Palawan is out of reach for me. Malapascua seems very affordable and quoted to be the "new Boracay" but it is a long journey to get there. And I am coming off of 26 hours travel time to get to Manila from Florida, but staying one night in Manila to recover. Any reccomendations where to stay and which resort to stay in would be greatly appreciated...
