Enderts Beach and other Secluded Beaches

What Caribbean island or destination is not popular to tourism with somewhat secluded beaches and nice water?

I am a US Citizen looking to travel to a Caribbean style island I can just lay on and rot. I want to lay in a hammock 24/7. If I could find a small piece of untouched land somewhere I would. But we know that isn't going to happen. So what's my next best bet? I was thinking the US Virgin Islands but thats obviously a popular destination. OR if anyone knows of a tucked away secluded specific location in a popular tourist area, that would be fine too. this might be asking too much but.. a small crumb box outdoor bar not far away from that area would also be nice.. try to be creative.. in my search, I came across Coco Blanco .. which is really cool.. almost exactly what I'm looking for.. maybe a little bigger.. I dont know.. images.google.com it

  1. Fiji
  2. I hear Vieques, Puerto Rico is gorgeous. It's a small island off the east coast of PR. Somewhere on the south coast of the island there's black sand.
  3. Cuba
  4. You are asking for too much.
  5. Barbados is nice but not that secluded, sounds to me like u want a WHOLE beach 4 urself!! Believe it or not there is no where in the world that u can really have a whole beach for urself. live wih it? Barbados is wonderful! =) God Bless.
  6. Why is it AmeriKans only know about the caribbean islands that are ADVERTISED ON TV? If you want an out of the way island.. then TOTALLY AVOID ANY ISLAND that Yahoo has on the list along the edge of the home page for Travel because those places ALL REEK OF AMERIKANS... there are a lot of nice places to do in the Caribbean... and NONE ARE ON THAT LIST. My favorite islands are Antigua and Bequia and you won't fine either one on that list of islands you should avoid.
  7. You could try the Turks and Caicos. There are beaches there where you can be confident of not encountering anyone and the water is perfect. I remember exploring such a beach on Providenciales and encountering someone who gave a start of surprise when he saw us because in years of walking his dog there every day he had never met another human being before. Another time we were with a group of friends on a boat trip exploring various deserted islands of the kind you dream of and one of my neighbours gave an indignant start of surprise when we sailed past a particular coral strand because there was actually someone on HER beach, where she walked every day and she couldn't help feeling resentful that somebody else had discovered it! Try it out for yourself. http://www.turksandcaicostourism.com/
  8. ANTIGUA---If you looked that definition up in the dictionary you would see ANTIGUA next to it. Its pretty much unknown, bet you never heard of it, and it has 365 beaches. On its sister island barbuda there is a 14 MILE beach--how awesome is that. And you can just sit around all day and do ...NOTHING...
