Best place in the world to go!?

I am 19 years old, about to turn 20. I have some money saved up, and have a budget of about 2.5 grand to spend not including plane tickets. I am about to go back to college, and I know that I need to do something awesome before going back. I just got out of a huge relationship that I almost gave everything up for (School, Family, Money) to keep it going. I want to do something fun. I feel like I haven't lived, and I skipped out on so many fun things like beach week, prom, and other great stuff because of this awful relationship I was in for 3 years. I want to go somewhere fun, where I can party, beautiful scenery, and meet some classy people at the same time. I plan on going for about 2+ weeks (however long my budget will run me basically). I want this to be something I grow up remembering for the rest of my life. I will be going by myself though. Does anyone have any strong legit places I could/should look into. If you have references or website for me to look at that would be awesome! I appreciate everyones' opinion!

2. From what I understand, the perfect place for you to go is Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Check out Beach and Tennis Resort, or get a hotel room somewhere. It's mad nice there and you should give it a try. There's definitely a lot for you to do, like beach, pool, shopping, golf, mini golf, dining, tours, bike rides, relaxing, fishing, adventuring, and it's just overall awesome!

4. Mexico!! Lots of partying going on there <or> Barbados. i was talking to this one really hot lifeguard one day who was from there and he was mad because he couldnt drink and party here like he does in Barbados! Miami is always fun too, but if you wanna get out of the country, thats not an option then.
5. If u think want to get out from US I suggest Asia is a good place to visit. For instant in Malaysia the changing rate is 1 USD = RM 3.62 (Ringgit Malaysia). Since u have 2 + weeks that means u can covers Thailand in the northern (cheaper cost) and Singapore in the southern (a bit costly) parts of Malaysia without flying.(on road or rail u can reach to the destinations). Unless u want to go to Indonesia or Philippines u have to fly then. Get more information from Malaysia Airlines Ticketing office if there is any at yr place.
