any cool secluded beaches that are dog friendly near south lake tahoe?

1. The only dog friendly beach I could find in South Lake Tahoe is called "Kiva Beach." According to "About Lake Tahoe," it's a bit hard to find, due to the lack of signage. Directions are as follows: "It's located just north of Camp Richardson. Turn right at the Forest Service Visitor Center turnoff and follow the road past the Visitor's Center (this is also the parking for the stream profile chamber) to the beach parking lot." The site also notes that they aren't entirely sure about the offiical status of dogs on this beach, but there are dogs there "all the time." Before letting your dog off the leash, check in with the visitor's center to make sure it's safe. Have a good trip!
