seclude lakes or beaches in NY anyone?

Secluded beaches or lakes in NY anyone? Oka so I live upstate NY and I am looking for a nice small secluded beach or lake to go hang out with my hubby. I am looking to get away from all the places over crowed by the city peeps trying to get away from the city. I want a nice small not so crowded place. Pictures would be a lot of help too. Dont bother to mention 7lakes always to crowed. Till someone mature, with manners comes along and has an aswer. Thank you for your response anyway.

2. (Don't know how far into NY you are, but) - there's High Point State Park in NJ, near and on the NY border. From the monument, views of NY/NY/Pa. and sometimes even the NYC skyline depending on visibility. Bring your Binocs. Nice lake (Lake Marcia-swimming), but not really secluded, not crowded, not overrun. The Appalachian and hiking trails. Whatever you decide - good luck, have fun.
