Is an Outer banks senior beach week a bad idea?

My friends and I are preparing for senior beach week and were having a few issues because we really dont want to go to myrtle. Were thinking topsail island? bec its less people and slightly more secluded. Or the Outter Banks? Can a parent sign for us on a house? Are the cops really strict?

1. No one in the Outer Banks will rent to you. Most of the real estate agents have contracts with the home owners that they can only rent to families. If you were a group of 30-somethings getting together for the week, you couldn't rent a beach house in the Outer Banks since you aren't a family. And they are really strict about it.
