Enderts Beach and other Secluded Beaches

Are there any secluded beaches in southern California?

I want a beach wedding and it would be easier to get married in California where most of my fiancee's family lives. Are there any low key kind of beaches where there arent a lot of people walking around? It will be a afternoon/night time...

  1. It really depends on the time of year. During the summer you'd be hardpressed to find seclusion on the So Cal coast but during fall and winter there are many spots that would have little if any foot traffic and yet still be beautiful.
  2. i agree that summer is a harder time to find a secluded beach i think you will have luck in the malibu area, everyone goes to the main beach, ZUMA, and they seem to forget about the 20 other beaches, although there is an issue with parking at some of these beaches, heres a list, i like point dume and el matador http://www.ci.malibu.ca.us/index.cfm/fuseaction/detail/navid/12/cid/432/
  3. Beach weddings are REAL expensive. You can get secluded locations, but you're going to have to learn to hold the bouquet in one hand, and hop down the aisle... it's going to cost you an arm and a leg. Here's a sample site:http://www.marcyann.com/Orange_county_weddings.htm
  4. My friend just got married on the beach in Malibu at the Malibu West Beach Club. It's beautiful, you can bring in your own caterer, and it's about half the price if you get married on a week day instead of a weekend. Check out the photos and see if it's something you guys would like... http://www.malibuwestbeachclub.com/
  5. Not really. Even in Pismo Beach there's still people walking around in the winter.
