Is my donation request alright?

Dear Hyland Family Bicycles, My name is Chris Chan. My friend and I are sophomores in high school and we are founders of a group called Ride Against Cancer. By cycling to different parts of the country, we hope to make a difference by helping spread cancer awareness to our community and the world, as well as raising money for cancer research Our first bike tour will be next year, from San Francisco, CA to Crescent City, CA. It is a 820 mile trip that will last about 2 weeks. The money we raise will go to the National Foundation for Cancer Research, and this years goal is to raise $5,000. I am asking you to help us reach our goal by donating to the National Foundation for Cancer Research on behalf of Ride Against Cancer. Any donation amount is always welcomed. Each dollar will help us move one step forward in finding the cure to cancer. We thank you for your time and consideration.
