Where can I find snow between crescent city, ca and medford, or around christmas?

I am driving from crescent city, ca to medford, or to pick up my brother from the airport christmas eve my kids have never seen snow is there any place close that I might find snow

1. Any where around Cave Junction, just pick a logging road and turn up it, the higher up into the mountains you go, the more snow you will find. One word of advise, don't try to drive your car on snowy roads unless your car is equipped for it. You will become one of the tourist who don't know how to survive in the snow and dies each winter.
