What is the best budget beach resort in La Union, Philippines?

1. Those small privately owned resorts with simple amenities.
2. Most or all beaches in La Union are affordable and they are close with each other. You may just go and select one in Caba or Bauang town in La Union. They should not be more than Php1K for a night stay.
3. I do not know what you mean by "budget" in this instance. My favorite is Cabana, along the hi-way in Bauang, La Union, nearing San Fernando. I do not find this place expensive, so I guess this is a budget resort. It is not high-end, but definitely not plebeian. The rooms are airconditioned, but you will see the finish to be native. Thatched roof, and bamboo as walls, concealing the concrete finish. Nice bar, good food. There is even a nice pool under the tree. Beside Cabana is Bali Hai, one that is a good alternative to Cabana when it is full. If what you mean by budget is "cheap", then there are several within the vicinity where you will find California Beach Cottages, also in Bauang. Look for that place, and you will see small resorts owned by the locals.
