Where is your favorite place to be and why?
Where is your favorite place to be and why? Please answer with HONESTY and SAPPINESS IS permitted! LOL! My question comes as I am heading out to be at one of my special places. I was born on Whidbey Island (NAS) and that is where I spent a good portion of my life. I have many fond memories of Whidbey and my life there. There are two spots I actually really enjy, both are along the beach. The first is close to the Deception Pass Bridge - its insight when on that side of the point and attainable within a short hike. The waves lap the beach side, there are plenty of logs to sit upon, rocks and sand abound. The smell of the salty water and evergreen trees mix with the sounds of the waves and the seagulls. The other is mid island and partially secluded. Its where we go when we want to go to the beach but dont want to be surrounded by the hoards of tourists. Ahh -just thot I'd ask you to share too.

- Puerto Rico, The food, music , and people are pleasing if you what I mean. I hope that answers your question if that is what you are insinuating.
- zakynthos is getting to be real popular here in Ireland.it is a Greek island.the weather is great there and there are fantastic sites to visit.even if you are not the type of person to go sightseeing you have to visit these places.you can see turtles in the waters if you go to turtle island, you can see a shipwreck in this small cove.you go there by boat and you can go and see the blue caves they are these extraordinary caves that you see by boat as they are in the see(and after-wards you can jump off the boat and swim in the see,.be careful who you go on the boat trips with to the blue caves and the shipwreck as some of them are a rip of.we went to a place at the very end.a man in the town beforehand said that there is a military fort ahead but they were just trying you to go with them.i think they started with "p" and had brothers in the end(it was two words). i think it was potanamis brothers(the spelling isn't great.there are tons of other things you can visit as well like little churches and the colors of the water is amazing its so so blue and so clear and in 1 beach you can go out loads in the water and it was only up to your knees or ankles which is great if you have kids.there is a lovely town call volimes where you can buy the nicest honey in the world and you can buy lovely presents.we stayed in a town called Tsilivi it was lovely.you have to go and see this island some stage in your life.
- Oh what a great question! I have several places that are my peace zones. ONE - one of the wooden bench seats in my old church. On a warm sunny day, the light would shine in through the arched windows streaming into the room. The heat would carry through on the sun's rays and gently warm those who were sitting in its path. I remember there being many meetings after morning services along with a weekly potluck. I would often find a pew with a pillow used by the older folk who needed extra cushioning and stretch out. In no time I would be fast asleep and sleeping in a peaceful warm safe place. TWO- The beach. I like both the sandy and rocky beaches along the coast. Listening to the waves crashing onland and smelling that fresh salt laden air sends my spirit soaring. Whether its the early morning sunrise or the indian summer sunset, the beach is a place of restoration. (aside from the many sports one can participate in) THREE - A mountain top meadow - long wild grasses, wild flowers, butterflies, a stream nearby with fresh snowey melt off, a few green trees all with me, a blanket, and a good book. AHH Those are my three favorite places. Hope you enjoy reading Thanks for the question
- Anyway -even in a small, uninhabited island- with my best friends it would be a great place!! Anyway... if I had to choose I'd choose NY because it's a large city, so there are plenty of facilities to do!
