any secluded beaches on cozumel?

are there any good beaches on cozumel that are not that crowded, and have good snorkeling from the shore?

1. What ever you do, stay away from San Francisco beach in Cozumel. It is a dump.

3. Yes and no :). To get a truly secluded beach, you might have to walk a bit. Since there is no such thing as a private beach in Mexico (even in the hotel zone) anybody can go to any beach at anytime. The link below will take you to a map of Cozumel where you can look at the beaches on the island. The beaches on the dirt road on the North West side of the island are probably going to be much more secluded than any others, because cars/jeeps are advised not to go on the rough dirt road (your rental insurance is voided on any vehicle that travels down the road). So this limits the amount of people you will encounter, you just might have to walk a bit. I hope this helps! Please feel free to contact me if you need anything else.
