- In my opinion it is the beaches of Vung Tau that are amazing. It is a resort town about an hour away from Ho Chi Minh City, and you can take a convenient boat ride right to the beach. There are plenty of hotels in this town that are average in cost.
- Vietnam's coastline contains many beautiful beaches and resort towns. Here are some : - Bãi Cháy : near Hạ Long Bay - natural heritage of Vietnam. - Đồ Sơn : a town near Hải Phòng city. - Cửa Lò : in Nghệ An Province - Thiên Cầm : Hà Tĩnh province - beaches in Đà Nẵng city. - Cửa Đại - near Hội An Ancient Town - Nha Trang - many resorts and offshore islands. - Mũi Né - plenty of resorts, near Phan Thiết - Vũng Tàu - a weekend seaside town near Hồ Chí Minh City (Saigon).. - Phú Quốc island - southwestern sea. in which Mũi Né, Nha Trang and Đà Nẵng feature many luxurious resorts. A common guesthouse in Vietnam costs around 10 - 20 USD, a 3 star hotel around 50 - 80 USD.
- Hà Tiên, Nha Trang (don't know about other things, you need to search)
- Hon tre, Nha Trang. Vung Tau is very close behind.
- I think the best beach is Nha Trang, in the southern of Vietnam. Miss Universe 2008 was organized here, too. If you have a long traveling time, you can go to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) first, then from there visit Nha Trang. Besides, Vung Tau is also near HCMC or Nha Trang. Vung Tau beach is not really nice but you can have a great view of the city from the hint (Vung Tau is small like Singapore and 2/3 of its boundary is the sea). In the northern of Vietnam, the most famous area to visit is probably Ha Long Bay. The beach is not really beautiful but the bay and cave are incredible.
- Nha Trang is the best!
