Enderts Beach and other Secluded Beaches

Are there any nice beach resorts near Athens?

We're thinking of a 2-centre holiday, a bit of time in Athens, a bit of time by the beach. Where would be good places to stay? Going in September.

2. My friend hard-n-tender, is Greek tourist agent so he gives the best information possible! You can even address to him for more information. I agree with Astir Palace, it is one of the best places near Athens and very close to my house!! It is very expensive but one who wants to spend some days near to my house, should pay the highest!! In case you want autographs, sign in the waiting list.!!

4. As a beach destination after busy Athens, Vouliagmeni is indeed a nice place to stay; it is half way between Athens & Sounion; say 35 km from Athens. Astir Palace hotel there is indeed a unique experience; I have been there on company cost, but personally I can not afford the extreme high prices.. one of the most expensive hotels in Greece. On the other hand, you could stay in Plaza Hotel or Hotel Armonia, both 100 metres from the beach; Armonia being the best choice. September is ideal to go there; enjoy it.
5. I am glad to have seen this question and the answers ...I have always gone north to Halkidiki area beaches but now you have given me another possibility to see. I have been to Sounion but not for staying & the beaches. I will find this answer before next years trip....Have a great trip like I know you will....I sure always do.
