LONELY HEART Hidden amongst the stormy seas An island sits waiting to capture thee Alone it stands - in the pouring rain Awaiting your soul to comfort the pain. Still Lit with the flame of eternal hope Protecting its treasure with golden rope, As Rays of the sun pierce through the trees When will this love - blow in on a breeze? And gazing of stars in the dark of night Why can I not see you - in my sight? Secluded, a paradise for only two A sacred place for just - me and you. Where dreams flow up - on to the shore, With mountains of pleasure for us to explore. Riding the waves yet still close to the beach Never wondering to far from each others reach, Patiently waiting for you to arrive Preserving this sanctuary - for us to survive A lifetime may come and then it may go But for you I shall wait – my beloved beau.
