Enderts Beach and other Secluded Beaches

Are Secluded Beaches in Punta Cana safe?

My husband and I are travelling to Punta Cana next month and we're staying at Sunscape. We have long stretches of beach and I'd love to walk along as far as I can, however, I heard that it's not safe....Should I be worried?

1. i went to punta cana in 2003 and i would say they are fairly safe but you have to take precautions before you go there. Make sure you research everything about the beach before you go. I would recommend a resort if you go they are way safer.

3. it would not be too wise to venture away from the resort, just like anywhere else, stick to civilization. Crime is up in the Dominican Republic, as bad as any tourist place, and you want to enjoy yourselves.
