Enderts Beach and other Secluded Beaches

Looking for a secluded beach in Mexico...?

I'm planning a honeymoon for '09, and looking for a secluded beach somewhere in Mexico. Our priorities are a beautiful beach (preferably in Baja California but necessarily), availability from a US airport, some level of English tolerance, and most importantly, away from the typical tourist hot-spots (Cancun, Los Cabos, etc). If anyone has any ideas, I would be very grateful. Links would also be appreciated...

  1. Ixtapa, many beach where your the only one there, other than a small family run restaurant or two.
  2. Ixtapa is nice - no doubt. Extremely tourist and RICH. Secluded - NO. Secluded but close to an airport - not possible. I know of many , many secluded beach's as I am a professional beach bum and have travel led all of Mexico and the Caribbean in search of them. I live in Acapulco and I suggest Pie de la Cuesta to people. About an hour from the airport and plenty of little mom and pop hotels. Hurry as it is quickly being developed and will someday lose its secluded charm. 20 foot waves and not a sole to be seen. Fresh water lagoon right on the other side of the street to jet skii and water skii. You tube has some videos on it . That's my best suggestion. Close as you can get to an airport and escape all the tourist's
  3. The village of Sayulita is nestled in a gentle, palm tree-lined bay just 30 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. A cultural blend of beaches, shops, restaurants, activities and smiling people make Sayulita the perfect destination for an "off-the-beaten-path" Mexico vacation.
