Enderts Beach and other Secluded Beaches

What are some beautiful, quiet beaches in Thailand?

I'm planning an 8 day trip through Thailand. My main goal is to hang out on beautiful beaches, sleep in comfortable but cheap bungalows on or near the beach, and avoid rude and obnoxious foreigners. Is it true that in February it is better to be on the west side of the south peninsula? I know Phuket is the tourist hotspot, but is it jam-packed with jerks and over-priced accommodations? I'm also interested in some snorkeling and light hiking. I'll appreciate any recommendations!

  2. Try Koh Samed, Koh Chang, or Koh Lipe.
  3. Phi Phi Islands in Phucket sure does look good :D
  4. Koh Kood, the farthest island from the coast of trat province. http://www.thailandhotelsguides.com/cheap-hotels-koh-kood.html Koh Chang, the second largest island in Thailand http://www.thailandhotelsguides.com/cheap-hotels-koh-chang.html both islands have a reasonable price accommodations.
  5. check out 100's of 2008 Koh Chang photos at http://www.visualthailand.com. I live in Thailand and this is still my favorite place to get away. Try Klong Prau Beach, exceptionally clean and quite. Have accomodations right on the beach and can hear the waves crashing all night long. Koh Lipe is super, see photos as well on Visual Thailand.
